Introduction

To measure out the correct quantities to make a solution of Potassium Chloride

  1. You will need
    • You will need

    • A container

    • Potassium Chloride crystals

    • kitchen scales

    • Deionised Water

    • kitchen measuring jug

    • measure out 250 ml deionized water

    • Place the container on the scales and press the Tare button to give a zero reading

    • Add solid Potassium Chloride to the container until the weight showing is 53g

    • Add the water

    • Stir for as long as it takes until (almost) all of the potassium Chloride has dissolved.

    • Label your container
